Molnlycke Talent Development
This was a large scale talent development project in which we were contracted to design a three-tiered talent programme: Assessment Centres for sales force recruitment; Development Centres for the identification of internal talent; and a Leadership Programme for the senior commercial leaders.
- Assessment Centre: The project focused on sales force recruitment with a remit to strengthen the calibre and performance of the sales force across the UK. The project covered the identification of key competencies for sales people, the design of an assessment centre to maximise predictive validity, assessor training, and the delivery of the first Assessment Centre as a hand-over to internal project managers.
- Development Centre: This was a company wide talent management project, designed to provide a talent pool to be used for succession planning purposes. The project included the identification of competencies required of high performers across all job roles and across all levels of seniority within the business. We used our experience to identify a broad range of competencies, as well as introducing our unique approach towards measuring strategic thinking.
We designed a three day Development Centre which runs periodically throughout the year. We also provided strategic links into the newly created Leadership Development Programme (see below). The outcomes of the programme were to form and maintain a Talent Pool. We also delivered of the first Development Centre as a hand-over to internal project managers.
- Leadership Development Programme: This Leadership Programme was designed to help Molnlycke senior commercial leaders to accelerate the development of personal skills and competencies. It included:
- a competency based 360 feedback appraisal
- a series of highly interactive, innovative and challenging leadership workshops; including one on strategic thinking and risk-based decision making, one on strategic influencing & reputation management, and one on leadership resilience and dealing with change & change resistance
- a team-based strategic business project
Molnlycke put all of its Woundcare Division and Surgical Division senior commercial leaders through the programme as part of its ongoing investments in high calibre leadership development.
