You can invite anybody with whom you work with fairly closely and who can answer questions about your work style. They can be people inside your organisation or people outside your organisation who you have dealings with such as suppliers or customers. It is a good idea to invite your immediate line manager. If you yourself are a line manager it is a good idea to invite the people who work for you.
How many people can I invite to rate me?
There is no limit to the number of people you invite but a reasonable number is around eight people.
Can I send reminders to my raters if they are slow to respond?
Yes you can. In your P360 Dashboard you can see which of your raters have completed and which haven't, and you can send reminders to those that haven't.
When do I get my report?
When all of your raters have completed, we will send your report to your assigned coach. In some circumstances we will close the P360 and send your report to your coach even if there are still some outstanding raters. We will do this when your P360 deadline has passed.
What is being measured?
Normally P360 measures leadership behaviour. The behaviours are defined in terms of competencies. Your organisation may have a defined set of competencies that they have asked us to use. Otherwise we will be using our own P360 competency framework. To see our competencies click here.
I've never done a 360 feedback before, what's it all about?
360° feedback is where you invite people you work closely with to give you feedback on your leadership behaviour. It's a way of finding out how you come across to others. It is very helpful in building insight into the impact you have on those around you.
How long does it take?
Normally about three weeks. You may have some slow raters, in which case your report may take longer. Eventually we will close your P360 even if there are outstanding raters. The important thing is to keep sending reminders to your raters to try and persuade them to complete, which you do using your P360 Dashboard.
Is your website always available?
Our website is on 24/7. It is off-line for maintenance on very few occasions throughout the year, but this is done at night (GMT) or at weekends, and usually lasts no more than one hour. If you are having trouble accessing the website please contact us and we will try and help. If you are using restricting anti-virus software you may need to whitelist our website domain.
What happens to my data?
We hold identifying email addresses until your report is sent out. After that, all identifying email addresses are deleted from our server. We hold anonymised data indefinitely in order to build our benchmarks.
What should I do if I am worried about what my manager or my colleagues might say about me?
In our experience we have found that people are honourable and give constructive feedback. We have come across no instances where people have been dishonourable in their feedback. 360° feedback is a great way to find out things that are hard to find out any other way. You may be surprised about what people say, but if you take the feedback in your stride you may find it is a great way to build your leadership skills.
